Based off a true story, Helen Mirren plays Sarah Winchester, a recently widowed woman, heir to her husband’s fortune and firearm business. Winchester uses her wealth to construct an asylum for all the spirits of those that were killed by Winchester firearms, convinced that they are preying on her and that they must be imprisoned.
