Happy new school year, Falcons!

               We are Evan Nicholas ’25 and Maggie Friel ’26, and we are the Talon’s co-executive editors for the 2024-2025 school year! We would like to officially welcome you to this new year of the Talon. We have exciting plans in store for the Talon this year!

               As always, the Talon is a student-run newspaper dedicated to providing information and insight on important events happening both in our school community and globally. We strive to create connections within our community through journalism. This year, our aim is to encourage Good Counsel students to stay informed, educated, and passionate about issues in their communities and societies and to work to improve them by spreading truth. We hope to emphasize the power that each member of the Good Counsel community holds to change the world using their voice. In today’s world, the loving, good person, even alone, can make a difference.

               No matter how far we get into the school year, it is never too late to join the Talon! We are always looking for writers, photographers, social media personnel, and artists to contribute to our publication.
