Meet Emma Feeney- part of XBSS and the GC Theatre Company! She is an Aquarius who is attending College of Charleston majoring in Theatre! Here is our senior spotlight interview with her!

What’s your favorite extracurricular activity?

Theatre is most definitely my favorite extracurricular- i’ve been involved in GCTC since i was a freshman and it’s become a sort of home for me.

What is your advice for freshmen? 

Participate, don’t anticipate. Join the club, audition for the play, try out for the team, sit at the crowded lunch table- and be kind!! This is everyone’s first time at highschool too!

What’s your favorite class and teacher?

My favorite class is my playwriting class- it’s always been my theatre class whether it be intro to theatre, directing and devising, acting for the stage- or this year: playwriting! It’s full of the best people and best laughs. My favorite teacher is Mr Perfetto because he made me feel very academically valued! 

What’s your favorite GC lunch food?

My favorite GClunch is General Tsos!

What is your favorite GC tradition?

My favorite GC tradition are the spirit weeks- i love all the activities during the week and the fun themes.

What’s one thing you wish you could change or have done differently?

I wish I had a conversation and had a moment with every person in my grade.

What GC senior do you want on your side of the apocalypse?

I would probably have Rachel Shrestha on my side of the apocalypse cuz I know she would never leave me stranded!
