Starts of the Week 

Quarterback:  

Carson Wentz: Carson Wentz has looked somewhat rejuvenated in his first season with the Indianapolis Colts. Wentz has thrown for 242 yards per game with a 64.4% completion percentage. He has cut down on turnovers, which was one of his biggest flaws in Philadelphia. Wentz has thrown only one interception in 7 games, while also throwing for 11 touchdowns. Sunday against the Titans, Wentz faces off against a Tennessee pass defense that has not fared well so far this season. The Titans have allowed 291 passing yards a game. They have also allowed the fifth most total passing yards in the league, 2037 yards. Expect for Wentz to air it out against the Colts. 

Running Back:  

Darrell Henderson: After Cam Akers injury in the preseason, Darrell Henderson has stepped up and is on pace for a 1,000 yard rushing season. Against the Texans, Henderson will keep his high rushing numbers alive. The Texans have allowed 127 rushing yards to running backs per game, and the most total rushing yards in the league. They have also allowed 7 running back rushing touchdowns, tied for 6th most in the league. 

Wide Receiver:  

Stefon Diggs ’12: After an electric 2020 campaign, Diggs has been somewhat quiet in comparison. Nonetheless, he has been good, with 37 catches for 463 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Dolphins on the other hand, have been a disappointment after fielding one of the best defenses the past season. The Dolphins have gone from allowing the 6th least points per game to now the 2nd most points. They have allowed the third most receiving yards to wide receivers and are tied for the 4th most wide receiver touchdowns. Diggs will exploit the weak Dolphins defense.

Tight End:  

Hunter Henry: Hunter Henry is on a hot streak, having four straight games with a touchdown. The streak will continue against the Chargers, who have allowed the 4th most tight end touchdowns so far this season. They have also allowed 6th most tight end receptions.

Bench Warmers of the Week   

Quarterback:  

Tua Tagovailoa: Since returning from injury in week six, Tua has looked exceptional amid trade rumors. The lefty quarterback has averaged 310 passing yards the past two games, with 6 passing touchdowns to go along with it. However, his matchup against the Bills will give him troubles on Sunday. The Bills have allowed the least passing yards in the league, in addition to the least passing touchdowns as well. They allowed a completion percentage of only 58.3%. Tagovailoa will struggle against the strong Bills defense. 

Running Back:  

Leonard Fournette: After earning the moniker of “Playoff Lenny” due to his exceptional performance in the playoffs last season, Leonard Fournette has been playing well. He is on pace for a 1000-yard rushing season and has 4 touchdowns through three games. However, he will be facing the Saints, who have a stalwart rushing defense. The Saints have allowed only 55.5 running back rushing yards a game, and they have only allowed 2.7 yards a carry. 

Wide Receiver:  

Julio Jones: Julio Jones has had a rough season with the Titans. He has failed to record over 60 receiving yards in all but one game this season. He has also failed to receive a touchdown. To add onto that, he has suffered from a lingering hamstring issue for much of the season. While the Colts defense has not looked great, they did hold Jones to only 3 catches for 47 yards in week 3. 

Tight End:  

Mike Gesicki: Mike Gesicki is having another great season for a tight end. He has 37 receptions for 427 yards, on pace for his first 1000 yard season. However, he must face the Bills defense, who has been phenomenal this season. They have allowed only 37 receiving yards per game for tight ends, and also only 3.6 catches per game. Gesicki will struggle against the Bills.
