As the 2024-2025 school year draws to a close, we gather to bid a heartfelt farewell to one of the most incredible educators Good Counsel has ever known: Mr. Thomas Campbell. Mr. Campbell’s journey with us began as a Good Counsel student in the Class of 1993, where he first experienced the warmth and community spirit that define our school. Just four years later, he returned to Good Counsel as the AP/IB coordinator, sharing his passion for learning and dedication to excellence.
After a six-year interlude, Mr. Campbell rejoined the Good Counsel family in 2013, this time taking on the pivotal role of principal. Under his stewardship, the school flourished, further becoming a beacon of academic achievement where students learn to excel, serve, and love. As this chapter of Mr. Campbell’s remarkable journey closes, we are both saddened and excited to congratulate him on his new position as principal of Saint Mary’s Ryken High School.
We extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Campbell for his unwavering commitment to nurturing a vibrant educational environment at Good Counsel. His embodiment of the Xaverian values and charisms has left an indelible mark on the hearts and minds of thousands of students throughout the years. We are particularly thankful for his steadfast support of The Talon, which has allowed us to fulfill our mission of providing reliable and timely information to the Good Counsel community.
Mr. Campbell, you have truly been a blessing in our lives, and we eagerly anticipate the incredible achievements that await you in your new role. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all as we move forward together.
