Dress-down days are days when Good Counsel students can get out of uniform and wear whatever they find fashionable or trendy as long as they follow the school dress code. The Good Counsel Raffle gives the students, staff, and faculty the ability to dress down before Thanksgiving break, which allows students to express who they are through their clothing styles. Although many students only dress down to get comfortable, some really put in the effort to dress to impress.

Roula El-Hibri, for example, wore a brown fur coat, a dark brown shirt, and a striped pleated skirt. Her style is reminiscent of the 2000s but also has a sophisticated, modern flair.

Another excellent example of style is from Willem de Moor. His attire consists of a black leather jacket, a Hawaiian blue and white shirt with a silver chain, a brown belt, black pants, and shiny brown shoes. Aside from his clothes, his neatly done hair makes the outfit sleek and complete. His style combines a unique, quirky, and professional look.

Ryann Gould wears the next outfit. Though her clothing may be simple, its simplicity makes it beautiful. The gray shirt, in contrast with the black pants and dark gray Crocs, makes Ryann’s whole outfit blend together perfectly. The way her hair is done and styled also completes the outfit and makes it look flawless.

Moving onto these outfits starting from the left, worn by Allison Igbaroolq, Kelly Currence, Keira Jones, and Sofia Cifuentes. All of their outfits have a particular taste to them. For example, Allison’s outfit is elegant and chic, while Keira’s is more streetwear-styled. Sofia and Kelly’s outfits are similar in style, as both are gothic or another form of gothic clothing. Here is Lulu Onyana’s outfit. It comprises a black puffer jacket, a plain black T-shirt, jeans, golden round glasses, and fur boots. Though the outfit may not be striking in color, the black puffer jacket, fur boots, and golden round glasses make it stand out uniquely by adding shape and texture.

Camryn Medley wears the next outfit. It consists of a light brown shirt with a zipper, light brown pants, and green and white Jordans. The style is simple yet stylish. The light brown makes her skin glow radiantly. The simple outfit makes her hair shine, and the shoes add a drop of color to the entire thing. Her outfit as a whole is distinct and different but also beautifully simple.

Last but not least is Isaiah Daniel’s outfit. He is wearing a shiny black puffer jacket, black glasses, pants, a shirt, and pulling it all together with silver stud earrings. His streetwear-styled and polished look makes him stand out from the enormous GC school and comfortable clothing crowd.
