Meet Nic Matthews! He is part of the Rugby team, Peer Education Program and NHS!
He is a Cancer who is planning on attending Florida State University majoring in business management.
Here is our Senior Spotlight interview with him!
What’s your favorite extracurricular activity?
Rugby, from the moment I started playing I fell in love and asked why I didn’t start sooner. I have fallen in love with the sport and the team I play with.
What is your advice for freshmen?
Don’t take everything so personally, everyone is growing up in high school and nobody has it all figured out.
What’s your favorite class and teacher?
Probably IB Sports Exercise because it’s just an interesting class in general and Coach Saar makes it even better.
What’s your favorite GC lunch food?
The good ol classic, General tso’s chicken.
What is your favorite GC tradition?
Dressing up and going to football games. Every Friday night, there was always something exciting to go to.
What’s one thing you wish you could change or have done differently?
I would have started at GC rather than transferring in but now that I think about it, I think it worked out pretty well.
What GC senior do you want on your side of the apocalypse?
Maybe Robbie Gresham because he wouldn’t be too bad in that type of situation.
