Shoebox Project for the Homeless

As we enter the season of giving, it is important for all of us to remember our brothers and sisters who are less fortunate and to find ways to help.  This year, the Good Counsel Key Club, in partnership with the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, is sponsoring the Shoebox Project for the Homeless.   With your help, they will be filling shoeboxes to provide the homeless with everyday necessities and items to help them get through the cold of winter. The needed items include shoeboxes, toothpaste, shampoo, lotion, razors, soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, socks, winter hats, combs, and scarves. If you have any of these items that you can spare or you would like to purchase for this activity, please drop them off at Mrs. Garofolo’s desk in the Counseling Office. Donations will be accepted through December 7.

“For it is in giving that we receive.”
